Fly On The Wall: The Collection (2015-25)

Fly On The Wall: The Collection (2015–25) is a series of eight documentary films distilling a decade of continuous production across more than 300 projects in the UK, US and EU.

Curated as a structured survey of outputs from the format’s early development and application, the films present a cross-section of contemporary classical music-making — from major recording labels including Hyperion, Chandos and Naxos, to venues such as the Southbank Centre, and the private performance and preparation spaces of leading artists including Angela Hewitt, Richard Goode, Marc-André Hamelin and Steven Isserlis.

Together, the series tells the origin story of Fly On The Wall applied across artists, institutions and environments. It documents the development of a production format trusted by leading artists, labels and institutions to capture performances typically beyond the reach of conventional film-making.
