Stewart French is a virtuoso classical guitarist, filmmaker and visiting lecturer at the University of London. He started his career as a Cambridge mathematician and M&A banker (Lazard) before receiving the highest recorded postgraduate guitar mark in the history of London's Royal Academy of Music.
Alongside his appearances as a soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and broadcasts/writing on Classic FM and with Penguin, Stewart is known for his distruptive audio-visual media projects - particularly in promoting the appreciation of music through the presentation of "exquisitely filmed" (BBC Music Magazine) performances.
