The Unanswered Question (2021)

The Unanswered Question is a multi-location performance film developed during the global lockdown, combining footage recorded across London, Berlin and Caracas into a single work.

Conceived with Ozero Arts, the project brought together performers from the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and soloist Simon Höfele. Each component was filmed independently using the Fly On The Wall format, requiring the production to operate across multiple locations and conditions without centralised coordination.

The resulting film integrated these separate recordings into a unified performance, demonstrating the ability of the Fly On The Wall approach to operate across distributed production environments and complex international collaborations.
